eZedia - QTI1

The QTI2 Page         QTI2 "How-to" Movies

Another use for QTI for teachers or people who give presentations. Sometimes you want something that can just be playing while the audience is getting settled or when you want to settle the audience or class before beginning. This little astronomy project on this page is just one  example.

Figure 1: The photos are from the Astronomy Picture of the Day site provided by NASA. No teacher should be unaware of this site. The images there truly inspire individuals to think beyond their traditional boundaries and marvel at what exists.

Figure 2: Here's another frame from the project. I want you to look carefully at this one because in the frame after this you'll see that I used the instant rollover feature to provide the viewer with information on what they are seeing.

Notice that here you have a plain picture but there is a button in the corner inviting you to get more information

Figure 3: Here's the next version of this frame taking advantage of providing information when we want it and not when we don't by using the rollover feature.

The project is only 480 KB.
